Weatherby & Sons Ltd - one of the Staffordshire potteries. Production started at Tunstall in 1891 but after a year, it moved to the Falcon Pottery at Hanley. It first made domestic wares, such as basins and ewers and moved later into tableware and giftware. The business closed in April 2000 under the stewardship of Christopher Weatherby, great-great grandson of the founder, John Henry Weatherby. Approximate dimensions : 2.25" / 6cm high This lovely little bowl is in excellent vintage condition. Backstamp in use from 1936. Painter's mark. There are two Matching Trios which are listed separately. All our items are pre-owned or vintage and may therefore show signs of use and age and will not be dishwasher proof.
