Information
This blue and white storage jar was produced by T.G. Green & Co. Ltd. They are most famous for the blue and white striped kitchen items which were first produced in the early 1930s and known as 'E-Blue.'

TG Green operated from the village of Church Gresley, South Derbyshire from 1864 to 2007.   The pottery produced many other patterns from yellow wares, Victorian transfer prints, colourful hand-painted Art Nouveau and vibrant enamelled Art Deco.

This storage jar bears the old green shield mark, first used in the 1930s.

Approximate dimensions :  5.75 inches / 15cm high

There is a pinprick to the top rim and a tiny graze to one of the stripes on this old item, which are mentioned for accuracy.

Would make a great pot to hold real or dry flowers perhaps or just as a display piece on your dresser.

All our items are pre-owned or vintage and may therefore show signs of use and age and will not be dishwasher proof.
