Terms of sale
Our terms of sale have been designed by A Fine Vintage to protect you and ensure you receive the best customer care to match the quality of our vintage items.
To protect yourself from disappointment or something unexpected, we have applied a zooming feature on all images and encourage you to inspect them closely as well as read our descriptions before purchasing anything and then again upon delivery or pickup. We will always photograph items before they are mailed to you to show you the condition they left us to prove they were mailed in described condition. If you're unsure about condition, dimensions, quantity, or description, send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org before making your purchase, we'll be happy to help.
May I cancel my order?
You have a legal right to cancel a contract under the Consumer Contracts from the moment you place your order until 14 days after you receive the goods. This means that during this period, if you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want to purchase the goods, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract, return the items and once received by A Fine Vintage, in the condition they were sent to you, receive a refund.
The right to cancel does not apply to the following types of goods, which are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements.
If you, 'the buyer' cancels an order after an item has already been dispatched for delivery, the costs of delivery are non-refundable. To cancel the contract, you must let us know you have decided to cancel as soon as possible. This can be done by emailing email@example.com with your order reference.
May I return an item?
You can return an item until 14 days after you have received the Goods. To initiate a return, email firstname.lastname@example.org
In your return request, please include the reason for the return, your order reference, the best method of contacting you, and photos of any damage on the item.
Returns are not accepted on the following types of goods: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements.
In case of a return, the delivery cost is non-refundable, unless A Fine Vintage finds that the item was damaged in transportation or determines the listing was inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresented the item.
A Fine Vintage is not liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties.
We reserve the right not to accept your order at our own discretion.
*Payment for orders via PayPal are taken at the time of purchase.
We collect certain information when you place an order with us which is required to allow us to process your transaction and deliver your order. This includes your contact details, order details, details of your address(es) and payment details. We will use this information to process your transaction and dispatch your order via our couriers.
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to PO boxes or known freight forwarding addresses.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
You must notify A Fine Vintage within 14 days of receipt by email to email@example.com
We will then advise you on how to return the goods, so that they reach us speedily and safely. We would ask that you take good care of the goods whilst in your possession, that they are unused and returned to us in the original packaging.
If you wish to return goods then you will be required to pay the return delivery charges, as we will only refund the original payment for the goods and the associated delivery charge.
If any goods are received in a faulty condition then please contact us to discuss return options.
These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
