This stunning oriental patterned Indian Tree teapot comes from the stable of William Hudson who traded from the Alma Works in Longton from c.1869-1892 and then at the Sutherland Pottery from c.1892-1941.
Hand-painted on transfer on a bone china base and finished in a honey glaze. Richly gilded to all rims, edges, handle, spout and finial. The pattern number is 2461.
Approximate dimensions: 5.5 inches | 140mm high to top of finial.
Backstamps include maker's mark from 1936 and Gilder's mark.
In excellent vintage condition.
