Two stunning duos in the Harvest Time design from Salisbury China - one of the Staffordshire potteries. Decorated with Cornflowers on a fluted white ground and lavishly gilded to rims and handles.
Salisbury China operated from the Salisbury Works at Longton, Stoke-on-Trent from 1927 as the Salisbury Crown China Co. The word 'Crown' was no longer used in their trading name from 1949. In 1961 the firm was taken over by Thomas Poole. The mark on these items dates them to around 1946.
