Two delicate bone china demitasses from Royal Worcester especially made for Phillips of Mount Street, Grosvenor Square, London.
The registered number indicates that they were produced around 1895. Phillips only traded from the Mount Street address from 1897-1906, so these items would have been purchased between those dates.
Cup x 2 - 2 inches | 50mm high x 2.75 inches | 70mm wide excl handle
Saucer x 2 - 4.875 inches | 125mm
There is a small faint hairline to one of the cups and two small faint hairlines to one of the saucers. This is mentioned for completeness and testifies to the age of these125 year old items and has been taken into account in the price.
Delicately hand painted on transfer in purple, green and gold on a white ground. Further gilding to rims.
