A beautiful bone china milk jug or creamer from Royal Vale. It is decorated in a gold chintz pattern on a pure white ground on a bulbous body shape with a footed rim.
The Staffordshire pottery, H.J. Colclough from Longton, first used the prefix 'Royal' when the company won official Royal approval in 1913. The name continued to be used when Colclough became one of the companies under the umbrella of Ridgway Potteries Ltd.
Richly gilded to rim and handle.
