An interesting collection of hand painted Art Deco vintage coffee cups and saucers from Pickman Spain.
Each item has been painted by hand with flowers and either a bird or an animal. The animals include dog, cow and rabbit. There is one example of a windmill. All rims, edges and handles are finished in blue.
The Pickman ceramics factory was built at the beginning of Queen Victoria's reign by Charles Pickman Jones. He used the site of the disused Monastery of Santa Maria de la Cuevas at Cartuja near Seville.
Approximate dimensions : Cup x 5 2.125" / 5.5cm high

An additional sixth duo is included free of charge which completes the set for display. There are hairlines to the saucer and a fleabite to the rim of the cup.

A most quirky set.
