From Paragon we have four beautiful Trios in the Michelle pattern with its pretty stylised flowers in pink and dark blue decorating the pure white fluted body. These elegant items are richly gilded to rims, edges and handles.
The Star China Company - one of the Staffordshire potteries - was founded in 1897 as a partnership between Herbert Aynsley (the great-grandson of the founder of Aynsley China) and Hugh Irving. They traded only from 1900 until 1919 using the trading name of Paragon. In 1919 the company name was changed to Paragon China Co. Ltd.
