Stunning Myott Art Deco tea set. Decorated in a leaves and flowers pattern on a cream ground. The rims have been hand-painted in silver.
Myott, Son & Co. Ltd is one of the Staffordshire potteries. Myott first traded from Stoke in 1898, then Cobridge from 1902-46.
Approximate dimensions : Teapot 3.5" / 9cms to top of lid x 8.25" / 21cms spout to handle. Jug 2.25" / 6cms high x 4.25" / 11cms spout to handle. Sugar 2" / 5cms high x 3" / 7.5cms wide.
There are two small flakes to the rim of the sugar bowl and are mentioned for completeness. Both other pieces in excellent vintage condition.
Back stamp includes Myott, the silver painter's mark, pattern number L280 and pattern name 'Pastoral.'
