This beautiful Blue Flower pattern trio was produced by James Kent, which began in 1897 - one of the Staffordshire potteries. Hand-painted, depicting a bird in flight over blue and white meadow flowers - this scene is bordered with a swag-type pattern.
Rims of both the saucer and the plate are finished in pale yellow. All edges and the handle are painted blue. Minor rubbing to the blue on the saucer edge.
A tiny fleabite to the cup and underglaze markings to the back are mentioned for accuracy. Will not show on display in your cabinet.
