Information

Based in the coastal town of Hornsea in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the pottery was founded in 1949 by brothers Colin and Desmond Rawson and partly funded by a butcher friend, Philip Clappison, father of John Clappison.  The pottery flourished until 2000 when it went into administration.

Approximate dimensions : 4.5" / 11.5cm high to top of lid.

In first class vintage condition, this lovely pot will enhance any collection of Hornsea, or perhaps start a new one.

A beautiful piece.
