This handsome Honiton Pottery Dish is decorated in the brown and cream tones of the honeycomb drip pattern.
The perfect size and shape for rows of ready sliced cake or triangular dainty sandwiches served on a serviette !
There are inherent tiny bubbles to the glaze around the edge of the design and to the underside, caused by the supporting rods when batches are stacked into the kilns. The bubbles are typical of these wares and are mentioned for accuracy.
The dish might also carry three nightlights for a dainty light display perhaps ?
