George Jones worked out of two Stoke potteries in Staffordshire : from Trent Pottery from 1864 - 1907 and from 1907 - 57 at the Crescent Pottery.
Here we have four most beautiful coffee cans and saucer duos which date from 1937.
They are decorated with floral sprays both to the outside and inside of the cups and to the saucers - all on a pure white ground. All rims, edges and handles are gilded.
One saucer has two tiny fleabites and is mentioned for completeness.
