Decorated both on the exterior and interior in a pink rose and other flowers design and finished with a honey glaze. The rims and handle have been hand gilded. Approximate dimensions : Cup 2.25" / 5.5cms high Saucer 5.5" / 14cms. In excellent vintage condition. Back stamped for Foley China from the 1930s and the design number V/806. The maker of these handsome pieces, E. Brain & Co. Ltd, worked out of Foley China Works, Fenton - one of the Staffordshire Potteries. Interestingly, this firm took over the business of Coalport China in 1958. Listed separately are 3 Saucers in the same pattern.
