This striking Devon Ware trefoil dish comes is transfer printed in a Rosebud design on a white ground.
From the S. Fielding, Devon Pottery, Stoke - one of the Staffordshire Potteries, the dish was produced before the outbreak of the First World War.
The rims, handle and centre detail are gilded to which there is some rubbing, more on the handle where it has been carried. Stacking marks. Small indentation under the glaze to base of handle.

3.5" / 9 cm high to top of handle
This beautiful item would be an elegant way to serve your hors d'oeuvres, olives, nuts etc.
It would also make a splendid holder of pot pourri perhaps. It might also serve well as a dressing table item or as a display piece.
