A delightful Blue Onion (Blue Heritage), pattern creamer or small milk jug from Enoch Wedgwood, Tunstall - one of the Staffordshire Potteries - this item was produced in the 1960s.
3.75 inches | 95mm high
4.75 inches | 120mm wide (spout to handle)
Enoch was associated with the firm of Podmore, Walker & Co 1834-59. In 1860, Enoch thought it advantageous to re-name the firm Wedgwood. This firm is not to be confused with Josiah Wedgwood ! Production ceased in 1965, when the firm was apparently taken over by the modern Wedgwood company.
Two underglaze hairlines to the spout side mentioned for accuracy. These are unseen when displayed with the side to the front. They are not present inside the piece.
Overall in very good vintage condition.
Matching Duo x 4 are listed separately.
