From Denby here are five cup and saucer duos in the Troubadour pattern. They were produced at the Joseph Bourne pottery at Denby, Derbyshire, which was established in 1809.
The Troubadour range of stoneware was available from 1971 until production ceased in 1984.
Each piece of Troubadour is unique since every item is individually hand-painted.
Approximate dimensions : Cup x 5 2.5" / 6.25cm high x 3.25" / 8cm wide
Saucer x 5 5.75" / 14.5cm
One of the saucers has an extra small brushstroke.
These duos can be used equally well to serve tea or coffee.
An additional saucer with a small dink to the rim is included at no extra cost as a spare. It could be used to serve mints, biscuits or chocolates perhaps.
All other pieces are in first class vintage condition.
Backstamps include Maker's mark and Painter's mark.
All our items are pre-owned and vintage and may therefore show signs of use and age and will not be dishwasher proof.
