Information

Two most pretty bone china, blue and white footed cup and saucer duos.   The pattern is called Grecian Dancing Maiden and was registered as RD 703050 in 1924.   The ladies are depicted dancing in a pretty frieze around the rim.  The frieze is bordered by two black patterns.  Gilding to all edges and handles to which there is some rubbing..

Crown Staffordshire was established in 1889 at the Minerva Works, Fenton in Staffordshire.

Approximate dimensions:
Footed Cup x 2   -   2.25 inches | 58mm high
Saucer x 2          -   5.375 inches | 137mm

There is a hairline to one of the cups which need not show on display.

A further cup is also enclosed for your interest.  It shows how early items, which were of some merit, were mended before modern techniques were available.  It has been stapled, a marvel in itself.  Look carefully at the inside - no staples visible.  Interesting and clever.

In very good vintage condition - looking amazing just a few years away from their 100th birthday !

Will make a stunning display.

Backstamps include Maker's mark and the 1924 RD number 703050.  Pattern number 11380.

Matching items are listed separately.
