Three stunning blue and white striped items from Chef Ware consisting of a milk, sauce or custard jug, a small mixing or pudding bowl and a mustard pot.
Similar to the items produced by T.G. Green, these pieces come from the Paramount Pottery Co. Ltd. which first started production in Hanley but moved to Longton, Staffordshire.
Made from Ironstone china which was first used in 1813. This material gained its greatest popularity during the mid-nineteenth century. The heavy, durable, off-white pottery was glazed in white and was decorated in one of hundreds of patterns.
These items date from around 1958.
