Two antique cup and saucer duos in the Imari palatte. From Argyle, England and in the Berwick pattern these duos date around 1910.
Cup x 2 - 2.5 inches | 65mm
Saucer x 2 - 5.75 inches | 145mm
Gilded rims, edges and handles with some rubbing.
The person who applied the transfer ran out of space for the swag on one of the saucers and had too much space on the other.
These two interesting duos would form an excellent base to start or add to an imari collection. They have been in use since the beginning of the 20th century and are an example of English ceramics from a less well-known pottery.
